How to make Hurricane Punch:
What makes a hurricane so good is all the juices that come together to make such a great tasting punch. Passion fruit juice is a must. You can find it in any regular market. There are 3 cups of passion fruit juice, 2 cups of pineapple juice, and 1 cup of orange juice in this punch. 3/4 cup grenadine and 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice are also added.
And finally 1 1/2 cups of light rum and 1 1/2 cups of dark rum are added to complete this fabulous and beautiful Hurricane Punch.
Pour it into glasses filled with ice. Tip: you can prepare this punch in advance! Just combine all the ingredients in a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve. Then it will be nice and fresh and ready to go!
Garnish the Hurricane punch with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
Since hurricanes originated in New Orleans, it would be appropriate to serve them with Jambalaya, Red beans and rice, King cake or donuts. It’s a cocktail that is a bit strong and can get you a bit tipsy pretty quickly if you’re not careful. So eat food with your punch !! Enjoy!
